DALLAS, TX — Update: Quaydarius Davis was found and is safe.

Original: A missing 15-year-old may be a danger to himself or others, police warn. Quaydarius Davis was last seen around 6:00 p.m. in the 4200 block of Wyoming Street.

Davis is described as a 5-foot-10 black male weighing around 180 pounds. he was last seen on foot wearing a black sweater, black shorts, black sneakers and a black beanie hat.

20 Hottest Housing Markets in the U.S.

Thirteen of the 20 hottest housing markets in the U.S. in January were based in California according to a list of the Hottest Real Estate Markets in America compiled by Realtor.com, and topping the list was San Francisco, followed closely by the tech-hub San Jose.

This monthly compilation is based on the number of listing views in each major metropolitan market (including satellite cities), plus the number of days homes spend on the market before being snapped up by buyers.

A number of factors were responsible for the movements on this list, the main factor being that prices are still at historically high levels because of low for sale inventory, which was down 8 percent since January 2017. However, according to data released with the list of hottest housing markets, approximately 365,000 new listings are expected to hit the market in February, showing a 3 percent increase over last year.

“A strong stock market run, new tax laws, and a government shutdown have given buyers and sellers plenty to digest as they come to terms with the new economic landscape and their personal situation,” said Javier Vivas, director of economic research at Realtor.com. “While the national picture remains largely unchanged, real estate remains more local than ever, and demand and supply dynamics are rapidly shifting across the country as the dust begins to settle.”

While San Francisco and San Jose fought for the top spot, Vallejo, California remained unchanged from its December ranking at No.3, followed by Colorado Springs, Colorado and Midland, Texas to round up the Top 5 spots in this list.

In fact, Midland, Texas showed the maximum gains from December, jumping 13 spots from No. 18 to No.5 in January. Chico, California was another big mover, jumping 13 spots from No. 29 in December to No.16 in January.

Other cities that made it to the top 20 list of hottest housing markets include San Diego, Santa Rosa, Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Fresno, Los Angeles, Oxnard, and Santacruz, all in California, as well as Denver, Colorado; Dallas Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan; and Boise City, Idaho.

A mandatory apartment recycling ordinance ould be the law in Dallas within three months after orders from a Dallas City Council committee Monday. Commercial buildings could also be added to the waste recycling program this year.

"It’s time to really get started in a very aggressive way to get something done," said Councilman Rickey Callahan.

Currently, Dallas only requires recycling to be available for single-family homes with service the city provides. But more than half the city’s residents live in multi-family rental buildings. A few years ago the city hoped that landlords would offer recycling on their own, but less than 25-percent of the 2,000 or so multi-family property owners have done so, according to city officials.

"Sooner than later I’d like to bring this back with some kind of ordinance," said Councilwoman Jennifer Gates. "I think at this point, just waiting for voluntary compliance, we’ve done that long enough and we can move forward."

An Arizona dog in a two-feet deep canal who couldn’t climb out was rescued, but wiggled out of his leash leading rescuers to try to catch him as he ran through traffic. After 30 minutes, a good Samaritan was able to corner him. Fortunately, the dog is micro-chipped and will be returned to its owner.

Other large Texas cities, including Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin, have required multi-family and commercial waste recycling for years.

"Gosh, I hate being behind Austin on everything," said Councilman Mark Clayton. "We say we can’t do it, and then they do and they’re still thriving."

Landlords have said it requires extra space on properties that were not designed for recycling. The extra collection will add expense for property owners, and tenants must be educated.

"We are ready to join with the city, and we know this is an important issue. Our biggest concern is how do we get over the details," said Kathy Carlton, with the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas. "You have a lot of residents that aren’t really into recycling and so they don’t care very much about how they sort their materials."

Sanitation Director Kelly High said Monday that the city’s McCommas Bluff Landfill near Interstates 20 and 45 may have only 35 years of space left. The city of Dallas’ long-term goal is "Zero Waste" to the landfill.

"This is not crazy. It has been done in other places. The city of Los Angeles is close to 80 percent diversion," Councilman Philip Kingston said.

A photo that appears to show an inmate at Kentucky’s Boyd County Detention Center in a guard’s uniform has been confirmed by officials. Officials say the photo shows Brandon Scites standing in a jail cell with clothing worn by guards.

Council members Monday said they want to move forward with apartment recycling first but also want to include recycling for commercial buildings this year.

"And I think what we saw today was a major victory for the entire city of Dallas, for the citizens, who want to be better stewards of the environment," said Corey Troiani, with Texas Campaign for the Environment.

Found Several Dallas TX Real Estate Listings We Are Interested In

My husband and I have been looking to buy a home. We have been renting an apartment and recently he has been promoted for work. I have also landed a good job that pays pretty well and I can see it lasting for a long time. We have decided it’s a great time to look at homes for sale in Dallas TX.

I went online and searched for Dallas TX real estate listings. I have found several real estate agencies in the area and have taken a look at their websites. I found a few listings I wanted to show my husband later and saved them to my bookmarks. Then I found a website that has all the listings of real estate in Dallas, TX on one website. I can also save my listings on the website so that’s what I have been doing. I have showed my husband the ones I have came across and he is also interested in looking at several of them in person. He said that he wants to contact a friend of his that is a real estate agent, but he wants to wait a little longer so we can get a list of all the homes we want to look at.

I am so excited to look at the listings I have saved so far. I have found several of them that is what we are looking for and that fits the budget that me and my husband talked about sticking around. I hope that one of these homes that we look at is something that we both can agree on. I want to own a home so badly and I know my husband does too. I am going to keep searching and saving and hopefully he will contact his friend soon so we can look at them.
